Our mission with the renovation of Butterfield Crossing Park is to provide a modern, inclusive, and engaging recreational experience for everyone. Our recent improvements are designed to inspire and accommodate people of all ages and abilities, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the outdoors together.
Possibilities Playground: A Commitment to Inclusivity
A standout feature of our park is Possibilities Playground, an innovative and fully accessible play area that embodies our commitment to inclusivity. This playground is part of the Town's Adaptive Recreation program and is designed to be a space where children and adults of all abilities can play side-by-side without barriers.
Community Support and New Amenities
The excitement around this project has been overwhelming, and we are grateful for over one million dollars in donor support generated in collaboration with the Parks Foundation. Butterfield Crossing Park now includes:
Six pickleball courts with lights
Two tennis courts with lights
A full basketball court with lights
New trails
An outdoor fitness circuit
Renovated irrigation system
All amenities are accessible via new routes from the parking lots, making it easier for everyone to enjoy the park.
