Many of the irrigation systems at DPS's sites are original and have reached the end of their lifespan. DCLA has designed system replacements at many of the District's sites. System replacements varied in complexity from single zones to complete site replacement. Designing new systems on existing sites presents challenges with existing conditions including large trees, pavement and structures. We walk each site with the Owner to assure we have addressed all existing conditions to their expectations. Starting in 2020, the District began implementing a new standardized central controller system for all of their schools. Each site we work with them on includes upgrading controllers to their new standard.
