overview

The intent of this project was for building and site improvements which impacted a large portion of the irrigation system. As a result of a new building entry layout it was not possible to route the new mainline without a bend under pavement. We worked with District representatives to explore several options and ultimately decided to install a section of HDPE mainline which would curve around the area, eliminating the need for PVC bends under pavement. We facilitated and attended training for the contractor to learn the process of installing HDPE pipe. Connections were made at either end to new PVC mainline.

Design Concepts is an M/WBE, SBE Landscape Architecture design firm with the City and County of Denver and a DBE under the US Department of Transportation’s Colorado Unified Certification Program (UCP).
