Pueblo East High School | Pueblo, CO
overview
The 20-Acre site consists primarily of Bluegrass to allow the school use of all areas of the site. DCLA developed an irrigation system to water the entire site within the District's required watering window. The hot, dry climate of the Pueblo area requires watering needs beyond typical systems along the front range. To allow for irrigation cycles to finish during non-occupied times we analyzed the proposed system and used historical ET-based calculations for the site's address to establish the required tap size. The results served as the basis of design for the pumping station which was specified by our designers.
