For this new park, the City wanted to use their existing water shares of an on-site irrigation ditch in the new park design. We designed a water control system to feed a water play feature. The ditched was piped at its entry point to the site. Water continued from the pipe into two water settling tanks where particulates settled out before being pumped into the water play feature. Once piped to the feature the water ran in an exposed concrete channel offering public interaction before it was captured again at the end of the feature and sent back into a continuation of the ditch running downstream off-site.
