The irrigation system at this park is fed from a pond pump station located across an entry drive from the ballfields. The existing mainline had failed under the drive and we provided plans for the replacement using HDPE pipe for this 100' section of mainline. We coordinated with a local contractor for a cost analysis for boring the new pipe versus trenching and repairing the pavement. It was determined boring was the more cost-effective option. Connections to the existing PVC mainline were made at either end of the extents of bored HDPE.
